Are you looking for a more rustic venue for your wedding and/or reception? You've come to the right place!
At High Country United Church, we give you a few days ahead of your special day to setup and a day afterwards to clean up. You will be able to access the property anytime. We also believe that everyone should have a dream wedding, regardless of their budget. You could have a wedding and reception here for as low as $1,000 with our current rate schedule.
Our lower hall - Capacity: 80 people
This space has an electric piano available for use upon request. The kitchen is a great area for prep-work. If not used during the wedding/event, it is a great space for the wedding party to gather or the bride to prepare, or a general quiet space.
Our sanctuary - Capacity: 125
This space has an acoustic piano, an electric piano, and an organ for use upon request.
Our audio-visual equipment can accommodate large print presentation materials on our TV screens, and multiple microphones are available. We have the capacity to livestream events on YouTube and Facebook upon request.
Our Barn/Shed - Capacity: 100-150 people depending on the event
(We have smaller capacity limits in place for certain events.)
This building was built in 1923 as a place to tie up horses when folks attended worship. It is a great blank slate to create a dream event. Perfect for wedding receptions! Please note that this space is not heated.
Our church building has two single-stall washrooms that are fully accessible.
We have a lift in the church building that can accommodate two people at one time.
We have two small parking lots and other parking is done on the side of the road.
Our kitchen is not a commercial kitchen, though ovens can be used for warming up food.
Two portable toilets must be provided by the renter as we are on a septic system for events running longer than 1 hour.
Rental options for equipment, decoration and supplies are available as well. This includes tables, chairs, dishes, chair slip covers, twinkle lights, table cloths and more. We want to help make your day a little easier to handle.

Deposit of $250 is required to secure your booking
Payment plans available. Payments can be received by cheque, cash, or e-transfer

Main building (includes use of both washrooms, sanctuary, lower hall, and kitchen): $500
Barn/Shed: $1,000
Full Property: $1,500
*some couples opt to have an outdoor wedding in our bigger parking lot that overlooks the field
On-Site Professionals:
High Country Officiant's fee: $300
Organist/Pianist fee: $150
Audio & Visual Tech fee (required for events held in sanctuary): $25/hour
(Outside professionals are permitted with the exception of our AV Tech)
Add-Ons:
When liquor is being served, we are required to have two security guards on-site: $70/hour
Livestreaming (only available if wedding is held in the sanctuary): $50
Use of tables and chairs: $100
Use of dishes, flatware, glasses, chafing dishes: $50
Use of decorations (chair slip covers, table cloths, twinkle lights, etc.): $50
Use of speaker and two wireless microphones for barn/outdoors: $50
Use of projector and screen: $50
